What can Infra Agent monitor?
Websites and HTTP APIs, SSL certificate expiry, TCP ports, and cron jobs or background workers via heartbeat monitors.
How often do checks run?
Every minute by default. The interval is configurable per monitor, and failed checks open an incident immediately.
How do I get alerted when something goes down?
By text message (SMS), email, or Discord, routed per monitor. You choose down alerts, recovery notices, or both, and message templates are customizable.
What counts as down or degraded?
HTTP checks validate status codes, response times, and keywords you define. Slow responses can be flagged as degraded instead of down, so you can tell an outage from a slowdown.
Are SMS alerts opt-in?
Yes. Alerts go only to numbers added under Alert Channels in your dashboard, and adding a number confirms its owner has consented to receive them. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Numbers are never shared.
Can I self-host Infra Agent?
Yes. Infra Agent is a self-hostable Next.js + Postgres app, and it's also available hosted at infraagent.app.

Text-message alerts are strictly opt-in: you add your own phone number under Alert Channels in your dashboard, and only you receive alerts for monitors you configure. Message frequency varies with your monitors' health. Message and data rates may apply.
